The cottage was nice - comfortable, clean and very quiet
After we booked, and made a non refundable payment, the proprietors notified us that we would need to provide a 200 Euro cash deposit. We rarely travel with this much cash, so had to acquire cash prior to arrival. The second surprise was that bed linens and towels would not be provided unless we paid an additional 10 euros per person. In all the places we have stayed short term we have never encountered this. We strongly suggest the proprietors include this information as part of the property information - allowing potential renters to make a decision before paying a non refundable booking. Lastly, there was no lock on the bathroom (toilet) door, nor hand soap provided for hand washing afterwards.
