Franck gave us great instructions before we arrived, so that it was clear what to do & where to go. He also gave us good recommendations for evening meals. It is a convenient distance from Giverny, with parking on the drive. The room was comfortable, and there was a fan to keep us cool. I couldn’t find the hairdryer, but maybe it was in the bathroom. The shower was our only concern, as it is hand held, above the bath, with nowhere to hook it up, so it’s not the easiest, but it’s adequate.
Franck offered us a drink in the morning, and it looked like he had set the table for us, which was very kind, but as we weren’t expecting anything, we politely refused as we had made other arrangements.
We didn’t find the shower very easy to use.

Locatie is prima, het huis is mooi ingericht. Onze slaapkamer was ruim, badkamer ook. De gastheer is vriendelijk. Geschikt voor mensen op doorreis, zoals wij.
Het huis is een privé woning, waar een kamer wordt verhuurd waardoor het te weinig privacy biedt. Het lijkt op een bed & breakfast maar dan zonder breakfast.

A parte la camera da letto il resto non era pulitissimo. Le stesse ciabatte che ci è stato chiesto di indossare prima di entrare non ispiravano molta fiducia. Il bagno era pieno di prodotti (mascherine chirurgiche comprese) ed esterno alla camera (bagno in comune quindi? Non sappiamo essendo stati soli, ma da verificare prima di spiacevoli sorprese).
Essendo in auto abbiamo scoperto che non si può entrare nella via dell'alloggio dopo le 20:00, cosa che impedisce di uscire a meno che non si vada a piedi o si lasci l'auto un po' lontana dall'alloggio. Era una cosa utile da sapere prima.
