If you are looking for upscale living with the convenience of being within walking distance to The Village and Lake then Pine Meadow is the perfect place for your group! A newly built home (2024) with living room, kitchen, and two master bedrooms upstairs. With vaulted ceilings, light and bright, gourmet kitchen, high-end flooring and fixtures, central heat with AC, an oversized garage, separate laundry room, this custom upscale home was designed for the ultimate Big Bear retreat!
LIVING SPACE - Spacious 3,200+ sq ft home with living room, TV, ceiling fans, dining table, bar seating, a modern style gas fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.
ROOMS & BEDS - 4 bedroom, 4 bath. Upstairs master suite has a king bed, TV, and private bath. Upstairs second master bedroom has a queen bed, TV, and private bath. Downstairs third bedroom has a king bed, TV, and a shared Jack and Jill bathroom with the fourth bedroom. Downstairs fourth bedroom has two bunkbeds, TV, and a shared Jack and Jill bathroom with the third bedroom. Living room has a sleeper sofa. Extra blankets and pillows are available.
KITCHEN - Gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, six burner stove, oven, double door refrigerator with water and ice dispenser, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, and more.
AMENITIES - Game room with pool table, shuffleboard, foosball table, arcade game, and infinity game table! Smart TVs, streaming apps along with fast WiFi, board games, and card games. Relax near the cozy gas fireplace. Laundry room with side-by-side washer/dryer.
OUTDOORS - Deck with gas barbecue, patio furniture, and a gas fire pit.

Beautiful new home, fully stocked, and very comfortable beds. The kids loved the game room and outdoor fire place.
Just check the batteries for the remotes; both fire place remotes had dead batteries.

This place looked good online, and on paper. It's actually better than the what's posted. Clean, quiet, and fully equipped. Had a blast. Check in and out was easy. The house was huge. Its a upscale home. Love the game room. Just make sure you unplug the video game before you go to sleep. The game goes off and on throughout the day and night. Enjoy your morning coffee on one of two decks, and watch the sunrise.

Our stay at one of the Pine Meadow rental properties located in Big Bear on January 17 - 19 was a delightful experience, blending the best of tranquility and convenience. This was our first time selecting a rental home with Big Bear Cool Cabins.
Booking with Big Bear Cool Cabins was a seamless process. The booking experience was straightforward, and the company was easily reachable through both email and text messaging. They provided us with the access codes in advance, making our arrival hassle-free.
Upon arrival, we found the home to be as spacious and modern as advertised. We particularly loved the dining and entertainment area, where we spent most of our time. The home exuded a comforting ambiance, perfect for our getaway.
However, there were a few aspects that could be improved. For future bookings, a secure way to send personal information, such as credit card details, would be highly appreciated to ensure privacy and prevent any potential compromise.
Upon entering the home, it would have been ideal if it had been pre-warmed to a comfortable temperature, as it was quite chilly. Additionally, while the sleeping areas were adequate, we found the beds slightly uncomfortable and noted that the sheets in the double bunk bed room were not replaced prior to our arrival, having grime. Ensuring the home's readiness before guests arrive would enhance the overall experience.
The entertainment room was a highlight, offering various activities for our younger family members when we weren't outside. However, the foosball table needs repair for future renters to fully enjoy.
The bathrooms were decent, though it would have been wonderful to have enough towels for the maximum occupancy of our stay. Fortunately, some of us had brought our own, but having sufficient towels available would have been convenient.
As for the other amenities, the Gas Grill and Fireplace added the perfect finishing touches. We did notice that the propane tank for the gas grill was empty, but we were able to use the outside fireplace propane tank when we needed to cook.
All in all, the location was superb. We loved being within walking distance of the tubing area and hiking trails, as well as a short drive to the Village and grocery stores. The blend of tranquility and convenience made our stay at Pine Meadow truly memorable.
We look forward to renting another home and seeing how Big Bear Cool Cabins has improved the welcoming and overall stay experience in one of their homes.
