About this farm stay rental
A light and airy, fully updated 1814 farmhouse with many of its original details. Sitting on 3.5 acres, it is minutes away from wineries, scenic parks, the Grand River, and Lake Erie. Enjoy hiking, biking or birdwatching in Ohio’s Metro-parks, kayaking on the Grand River, a day at the beach, or sampling wines at one of the 25+ local wineries.
This two-story, 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom home is designed with comfort and tranquility in mind.
It features two living spaces (SMART TV’s, books, games, and puzzles) and a dining area. One living space has a wood-burner accentuated by a brick surround and built-in bookshelves. Between the two spaces is an open kitchen with an electric oven/stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee pot and many extras. A half bath and laundry room (washer & dryer) are off the kitchen.
The home features a large first floor master bedroom (king) with a comfy window seat and adjoining full bath (shower and tub). Upstairs you'll find a spring-themed bedroom (queen bed), a cozy loft (twin beds), and a newly renovated bath, (bathtub only being converted to tub/shower by Jun 2024).
We want you and your guests to feel at home and have provided many items to get your trip started (e.g., coffee, teas, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hairdryers, etc.). Enjoy the sounds of nature on the covered front porch. Grill dinner with freshly picked herbs. Watch the sunset around the backyard firepit. A great space to relax and unwind with family and friends.

Beautiful house, had everything we needed. Jean was so sweet making sure we felt very welcome. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Not too far from I-90 or the town of Madison. Lots of wineries nearby, close to Kuhnle Bros. raceway (where we went to). Highly recommended

Beautiful home & five star hospitality! House was clean, beautiful, private, plenty of parking & close to vineyards. Thoughtful amenities made our annual girls weekend a lovely stay.

Beautiful home, the pictures do not do it justice. The area is quiet but easy access to I90..We checked in and were greeted with fresh flowers and a cookie jar full of oatmeal raisin cookies. Jean is a wonderful host and has thought of everything for an enjoyable stay. The house is immaculate, and everything looks new. We came "home" for a visit with family and could not have chosen a more comfortable stay. There is plenty of room to spread out and relax. When we visit family again next year we will definitely stay with Jean. We highly recommend this home.
