Welcome to our house in Poppenhausen!
Discover the beauty of the Rhön and the coziness of our vacation apartments.
Our apartments are lovingly furnished and offer all the comfort travelers need to feel at home. Cleanliness, care and equipment of the apartments are particularly important to us.
The enthusiasm of our guests when they have a great time in our apartments is our greatest reward. It fills us with pride and joy to know that we were able to contribute to our guests feeling at home.
Our house Martina is quietly located in a residential area and yet close to the village center. In the building there are 2 vacation apartments and 1 apartment.
The vacation apartment Wasserkuppe is suitable for up to 8 people and is equipped with some comfort. Not only the spacious eat-in kitchen, the living room with balcony and the cozy reading corner with flickering fireplace invite you to linger. But also the 3 comfortable bedrooms with box-spring beds and the modern bathroom with window.
We have a bicycle/ski room and a "laundry room" with washing machine, dryer and ironing station for our guests to use free of charge.
Free parking is available directly at the house.
Poppenhausen in der Rhön is a picturesque community surrounded by breathtaking nature. The central location offers a wide range of activities in and around the village. There are numerous well-marked hiking and cycling trails, toboggan runs, cross-country ski trails and ski slopes. There are also numerous cultural highlights to visit or discover and much more:
One popular excursion destination is the nearby Kreuzberg. Here, visitors can enjoy the impressive view, practise mountain biking or visit the famous Kreuzberg monastery.
The Wasserkuppe is also worth a visit. Not only does it offer visitors great hiking routes and summer tobogganing, but also paragliding, gliding and, in winter, skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing. The Wasserkuppe also offers an interesting museum dedicated to the history of aviation and an adventure world for children.
The nearby town of Fulda also has a lot to offer culturally. The castles in Fulda and Eichenzell, with their picturesque parks, are also worth a visit.
