About this apartment rental
A lovely upside-down self-contained annexe in the heart of rural Mid Wales, benefitting from the most amazing views. Becsuse we are in the centre of Wales, we are a fantastic location for a base to explore or a perfect place to stay if you are travelling through. We are 15 mins from Knighton and 20 mins from the award-winning spa town of Llandrindod Wells. We are a 2-minute walk from Llanbister Road train station on the scenic Heart of Wales line. We are on the 825 cycle route. We also have Elan Valley nearby. Llanbister Road is a tiny peaceful mid-Powys hamlet with 3 local farms and amazing views. A ten-minute walk takes you to the beautiful Common if the sky is clear at night the sky will be star filled, truly amazing. During the day you will find roaming sheep and an area with a stream. The wildlife here is amazing and locals are all friendly and helpful. 3 Large Local Supermarket locations and many slight seeing an family attractions. STARLINK SATELLITE FAST INTERNET ! Sky TV in Living room and double bedroom. A complimentary freshly-baked loaf of your choice (white or wholemeal ) will be provided for stays of 5 or more nights. A selection of breakfast cereals is also provided, plus a selection of jams, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, butter, sauces and cooking oil. Ideal for 4 adults or a family. We have a friendly chocolate labrador called Bailey he has no access at all to your area, as we appreciate not everyone likes dogs. However, if you are a dog lover and would like to say hello to Bailey, please let us know! It would make his day.
Please also note the bathroom is actually a shower room with toilet, hand basin and electric shower and shower cubicle. As the shower room has ceramic floor tiles, guest slippers are provided for your comfort. There is a selection of books in the lift-up pouffe for your leisure during your stay.
We are Nick and Gail who took early retirement and moved to a house called "Cilcaine" in Llanbister Road, Mid- Wales in 2020. We look forward to welcoming you to this beautiful part of the country. We hope you enjoy our welcome hamper. A freshly-baked home-made loaf is provided for stays of 5 or more nights. We can also offer this for shorter stays on request. The accommodation is a self-contained upside-down annexe which sleeps four. It has two bedrooms (with travel cot option on request), shower room/WC on the ground floor, stairs leading to a comfortable living/dining room and a full kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Sky Q including Netflix, Disney + Amazon Prime Video etc is in the living room and bedroom 1. In bedroom 1, you will also find a PlayStation 3 and a selection of games and DVDs . A TV/DVD combo is in bedroom 2 which also has Netflix and other channels plus a selection of children's DVDs.
The scenery is breath-taking and the property is quiet and peaceful. Many guests have commented on having the best night's sleep ever! We really hope you enjoy your stay.
