About this cottage rental
Escape to this adorable cottage in picturesque Pender Island. Nestled in a serene location, this cozy retreat with its huge vaulted ceiling offers a comfortable stay for guests. The bedroom features a fabulous queen bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Have your morning coffee on the window seat watching the ocean. There is a double futon located in the living room. With heating, AC, and wood burning stove, you'll have all the necessary conveniences at your fingertips. We also have a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. Whether you're seeking a peaceful getaway or an adventurous exploration of the island, this cottage with its 1,000 sq.ft. wrap around deck is the perfect home base. Whales have been spotted from the deck at the end of the bay. You will enjoy the many birds you hear and see that reside in our protected wetlands. A U-pick bouquet is included in season for you to fill the cottage with flowers! Grab an apple on your stroll to the beach for a snack from our trees. Our huge level walk-out beach is perfect for walking and great for swimming and any water sports. We are located right across the road from Port Browning Pub and Marina with great dining, public pool and paddle board rentals. Also a quick walk to Driftwood Mall to have a great coffee and cinnamon bun or pickup any food at the local grocery store. We're happy to assist with any questions while you stay at our cottage.

The cottage was a delightful place to spend some time: lovely view, everything seemed brand new, a wrap-around porch, and many spots to explore on the island. We particularly appreciated the Parks and Recreation map that showed all the ocean access spots on the island. We had a wonderful time finding and enjoying most of them, even though the weather was cold and wet.

The perfect place to relax! Susanne was very responsive from the start and throughout our stay at her beautiful cottage. The cottage itself is very clean and new, and has a great view of the harbour while still having plenty of privacy perched up on the hill. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. We would definitely come back again!
