Fran is the happiest person one could meet .The hotel is perfectly located in Aeromaches to permit touring of the town and close proximity to Bayeux. Out tour of the beaches etc started here with Gold Beach and the Museum one block away. The countryside is beautiful. The breakfast was complete and beautifully prepared. The historic memorabilia is everywhere and so interesting. 👍

The location was simply unbeatable! How could it be, barely fifty steps from Gold beach and its' Mulberry harbor relics; and probably as many to local restaurants and coffee shops! The aeronautical artifacts from the invasion and the era writ large on display throughout the property are nothing short of amazing; immersive, and replete. If you want a warm friendly place to lay your head at night while exploring this profoundly beautiful and solemn region, you will be hard pressed to find a better place than D-Day Aviators.

Access is very difficult, there is no elevator, landlady y a very bad tempered woman
