The property is beautiful and tranquil. The gardens were in bloom during my stay. The lovely front porch was a relaxing area where I sat to read and do crossword puzzles while enjoying a cup of tea which is always available in the dining area. The breakfast meals were delicious with fresh berries from the garden as well as homemade preserves and biscuits. Everything is spotless and meticulous. The home is a lovely combination of old and new decor. The bed was comfy, the towels luxurious. Anne and Doug could not have been more accommodating. I would definitely return for another stay.
