Heel smaakvol ingerichte B&B , van alle gemakken voorzien. Gastvrouw Anita is erg aardig en zelfs zo attent , er stond een welkomstbericht in het Nederlands.

3. When I drove up to the apartment's address, I saw a cat running towards me from a distance. It jumped onto the plastic trash cans placed opposite the front door of the house at the back of which the apartment is located.
And since we've always had cats in our house (we now have two), I immediately knew it was a female cat, as only the females are tricolored – tortoiseshell. This one had long fur, which, up close, turned out to be completely matted. Her hair was clumped into large, dirty balls all over her body. The kitten was very hungry, and judging by her distended belly, she was also infested with worms. Her eyes were watering. She was suffering.
I thought, what kind of owner could neglect their cat like that? Not seeing her suffering.
It turned out she hadn't run to that address by accident. In the apartment, I found a note with photos of three cats and a request not to let them in because they belonged to Anita, the owner. In one of them, I barely recognized the cat from the dumpster – 12-year-old Stigne. Both have a distinctive light vertical line running up to their forehead, green eyes, and a light tie. Stigne in the small photo is a beautiful, well-groomed kitty. Stigne on the street is a matted, hungry, worm-infested, and suffering cat. How could she have been allowed to get to this state?
The Danish Animal Welfare Act of 2013 requires those who keep animals to provide them with adequate shelter, feeding, watering, and care, taking into account their physiological, etiological, and health needs. Therefore, the act prohibits both direct abuse and neglect.
