About this villa rental
From watch tower ... to working farmhouse ... and now a private retreat; our Tuscan family estate is like nothing else. Offered as a weekly rental destination for the first time since our stewardship, this thoughtfully renovated property welcomes your family.
Three buildings totaling around 10,00 square feet include 6 bedrooms (each with full private bathrooms), two kitchens, a separate office and gym, several dining areas and extensive living spaces. The wine cellar awaits your intimate gatherings and the pizza oven your family meals. The olympic sized pool and multiple patio areas are surrounded in reclaimed stone - fountains bubble from 3 locations and outdoor amenities include a tennis court, a bocce court and a shaded ping pong table - all ensconced behind an electric gate within 5 fenced acres. Pinguini (portable air conditioning) are available for all bedrooms and windows are screened and shuttered. Heating is through radiant flooring and 4 wood-burning, 3 gas, fireplaces.
This estate is accessed from a private, gravel road nestled in a 700-acre agricultural valley and nature preserve. Walking trails and wildlife sightings are plentiful! Perfectly located between Florence & Siena and within walking distance to the hotel Castello del Nero, the home is but a short drive to restaurants, shops, the A1 and the many hill towns of Tuscany.
Notes for guests:
Our house manager will be onsite for a few hours every week day and will assist with any questions you may have regarding the property. Gardeners, pool maintenance or other staff also have access to the grounds. You will need a car in this region of Tuscany.
Things that are excluded from the base rental amount per week:
A damage deposit (billed by host and collected before arrival)
Electricity & Gas Utility costs
The following will be charged additionally based on client requests:
Extra housekeeping or staffing
Cooking, Pizza oven operations
Pool heat

The grounds of this property can be rented for events (photography sessions, parties, cooking classes . . .) and are quoted individually.

Absolutely stunning! Our stay at the Tuscan villa was nothing short of magical. The property was massive, offering a true escape surrounded by picturesque cypress trees, olive groves, and sprawling grapevines. The serene landscape was the perfect backdrop for relaxation and exploration.
The villa itself was incredibly well-appointed with a wealth of amenities. The pool was spectacular, offering refreshing swims with breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside. There were also a well-maintained tennis and basketball court, providing ample opportunities for active recreation.
The fully equipped kitchen had everything one could need to prepare meals. We easily made breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the property, enjoying our culinary creations in the picturesque outdoor dining areas.
Every bedroom came with its own en suite bathroom, ensuring privacy and comfort for all guests. The layout of the property, main house and guest house (with its own kitchen), was more than enough to accommodate our two families comfortably.
One of the highlights was the prime location. We took a delightful day trip to Florence, just a 25-minute drive, making it incredibly convenient to experience both the tranquility of the countryside and the vibrancy of the city.
If you’re looking for a luxurious, picturesque getaway with easy access to Florence and charming local towns, this Tuscan villa is an ideal choice. Highly recommend!
