About this cottage rental

Old family house 200 years old in our family near BAYEUX completely renovated in 2023 with all modern comforts close to the historic Norman tapestry sites of Bayeux and the landing beaches, HOMAHA BEACH, UTHA in a rural natural space.

We enjoyed this lovely country cottage. It was equipped with everything we needed.It was a 6 minute drive to the center of Bayeux and the museum.

Carole and Stephen met us at the property and were friendly and welcoming. Carole took us round the property and explained the functioning of items in the living room and the kitchen. The property has a well equipped kitchen. The TV, luckily, has some English channels. We spotted a plumbing problem, Stephen was happy to spend time fixing it straight away.The house was spotlessly clean and the garden very large. As we had a toddler in our party the fully enclosed garden was important. The main supermarkets are in Bayeux but we did find a bread shop nearby on the D572 near Noron-la-poterie.Would definitely recommend staying here.
