Modena is een hele fijne stad om te bezoeken in de kerstperiode. Niet zo druk als Venetië, maar ook heel pittoresk en sfeervol. Ook het Ferrari museum was de moeite waard. Het appartement is helemaal in orde. Sfeervol, een aangename douche, goed bed en prima om te verblijven met twee kinderen (slaapbank in woonkamer).
Alle communicatie van de host in geval van vragen was in het Italiaans; niet altijd evident. De toegang tot de poort werkte niet goed, maar met een beetje improvisatie toch opgelost. De accomodatie is niet zo gemakkelijk te bereiken met openbaar vervoer, want tickets zijn lastig te verkrijgen en redelijk ver om te lopen.

The apartment is nicely renovated, but it feels a bit like living in a basement. The bed in the main bedroom is comfortable. The location is very good.
Replies to the owner: What you're writing is not true; we left the room completely clean. Regarding the moldy bedding, you exchanged messages with me and suggested you'd buy new ones. I'll send screenshots of the messages to anyone interested. I don't recommend this accommodation.
There is a lack of basic amenities such as mugs, glasses, coffee, and tea. When we asked where we could find them, we were told that they were not provided because guests used to steal them too often. My rating is mainly influenced by the cleanliness of the bedding and towels. When we arrived at the apartment, the washing machine and dryer were running. No staff member took care of it for three days. The smell of the towels and bedding we were given suggested that this might be their standard practice.There is mold covering the entire wall in the utility room.
