We keep on going back. The staff are always friendly. The food and drinks are excellent, and great value for money. The room was clean, comfortable and had a lovely view. The bed was very comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay at this cosy pub and would happily return! The room was clean, comfortable, and the bed was incredibly comfy—we slept so well.
The food was delicious and clearly made with care, and we especially loved how dog-friendly the place is. Our pup was made to feel just as welcome as we were, which made the stay even better.
A warm, welcoming spot with great food and comfy rooms—highly recommended!

Good breakfast. Good choice of draught ales. Bar staff and breakfast server were friendly and helpful. Room was a good size and clean, facilities were adequate. Our room opened on to the pub garden and children's play area so this would be much livlier in the height of Summer, though was peaceful during our stay.
The listing implies it is in Bridgwater. It isn't. It is a 4 mile drive from Bridgwater. On arrival, a pretty surly, (non) welcome from the manager/person who checked us in. He should take a lead from his much more friendly and more polite colleagues. While our room was very clean, it had a light smell of a mix of damp and body odour. The quilt didn't quite fit the bed.
