Lovely spacious apartment about a 20 minute walk from the harbour. Huge bathroom with a rainfall shower and bath.

Only minor gripe: the bed was triple-sheeted. As a somewhat… enthusiastic sleeper, that setup means the doona doesn’t stay protected for long. When I asked the host if a doona was available, I was told there wasn’t one but I could pop over to Kmart and buy my own. Not quite the solution I had in mind. Over the past two years, I’ve stayed in a slew of hotels and Airbnbs in WA, over east and in Europe and this triple sheeting is a growing – infuriating – trend of short-stay accommodation providers to ditch the doona cover in favour of triple-sheeting the beds. While it’s arguably an easier system for housekeeping and laundry to manage, for this wriggly, sleepwalking insomniac with restless leg and arm syndrome, it’s an entanglement risk. It renders the hygienic argument null and void because I always end up making contact with the uncovered doona.

Neat, clean and spacious.

Lounge suite is far too low and soft and not comfortable.. Freezer box in fridge was completely frozen up with ice. A stove with at least 1 more hot plate would improve cooking facility. The security keypad at the front entry can be unreliable at times.

Loved the old style ambience, a well presented property, very clean, well equipped kitchen and the bed was so comfortable. Also the property is within close walking distance to the local store and there are some lovely walks around the area, plus a short walk into Hobart CBD.

Stairs to accomodation awkward for suitcases. Numerically access rather than keys.
