Property is about 15 minutes from a subway station. For those with mobility issues/lots of luggage take note that the apartment is on top of a hill with a winding road. It's located outside the old city in neighborhood filled with locals. It's great if you want to get away from the tourist crowds. The food in the area was the best we had in Rome and the prices were cheap/reasonable. There's a great grocery store (Pim) just a short walk away with great prices. There is a lovely cafe (Bar caffetteria L'angolo Sfiziosoa) just before it. As well, the best Carbonara in Rome can be had at Pasta al Volo.
The apartment was clean and bright, the patio was a lovely feature. The owners were helpful and provided us with lots of information about the area and apartment. There were some noisy dogs in a neighbouring apartment, which made sleeping in difficult.
For those who are looking to explore the city and stay just outside the city centre, we definitely recommend this place.

Stefano and Alberto’s property is a perfect spot to stay in Rome. Just on the outskirts and about 20 minutes by bus to Vatican City, this property is worth it for the seclusion and escape from the busy parts of Rome alone.
The balcony and big windows were such a welcome surprise and the home was supplied with everything we needed.
My wife and I always enjoyed coming back at the end of a long day to this quiet haven. We cannot stress enough how perfect it was and we hope to stay again sometime in the future!
