This cottage is the ideal starting point for discovering the treasures of Bugey and Ain. Whether you're a hiking or cycling enthusiast, the region is full of treasures to explore. Just a few minutes from the cottage, discover the Grand Colombier, one of the Tour de France mountain passes, offering exceptional views of Lake Bourget, Mont Blanc, and the Alps. Numerous marked trails crisscross the surrounding area, through forests, ridges, and mountain pastures, for hikers of all levels. Cycling enthusiasts will enjoy the varied circuits around Culoz, Anglefort, or Artemare, while nature lovers can explore the Valserine Gorges, the Balme Caves, or the nearby waterfalls, such as Glandieu. Thirty minutes away, treat yourself to a getaway to Lake Bourget, a large natural lake, for a swim, a cruise, or a visit to Aix-les-Bains. In a small, peaceful village of about sixty residents, welcome to La Boiserie de Fitignieu, an eco-friendly house made of solid spruce, completely self-sufficient in BEPOS energy. This 80m² eco-gîte has a separate entrance and is not overlooked. It is located on the first floor of the house. Take the exterior staircase to a 13m² balcony where you can enjoy the garden furniture. Upon entering the gîte, you'll find the kitchen, which opens onto the living room and a relaxation area equipped with a sofa bed and a sofa. There are two bedrooms: the first is equipped with a 140x190cm bed opening onto the balcony, and the second bedroom with a 160x200cm bed (which can be converted into two single beds upon request) and a 90x190cm bed. Shower room, separate toilet. Sheets, towels, and end-of-stay cleaning are optional upon request. Low-temperature heating with a heat pump and solar panels, and a fireplace are included.
