About this apartment rental
This is a detached cottage with three bedrooms all on the same level. It has plenty of parking and offers lovely options for sitting outside to get the very most out of the long summer evenings. As there are some nice personal items in the house, it is not ideal for families with children under the age of ten.
The living area is bright and open plan with large windows offering beautiful views. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and Nespresso machine.
There is a dining table to seat up to 6 people and the living room is comfy and cosy with couches, TV and a welcoming open fire. Good strong wifi is available throughout should you need to do some work during your stay.
There are three bedrooms and in all, the house can sleep up to 5 people. The master double bedroom is ensuite with a shower over bath and the twin and single bedrooms share the use of the main family bathroom which also has a shower over bath.
There is a little shed outside containing a washing machine and tumble dryer and the owners are more than happy for you to use their two bikes that are stored in there too.
The village of Ballyconneely is just a short stroll from the house and there you will find Keogh’s (the heart of the village offering everything from hardware to groceries to a pint!) and Sweet Nothings Café. The large town of Clifden is only a 7 minute drive away and Roundstone is a similar distance in the other direction.
You can easily walk to Guinness beach in less than 10 minutes. This is a gorgeous little cove ideal for swimming. The area is surrounded by glorious beaches in every direction and if you are lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of some seals as you explore.
Connemara Championship Golf Course is a short drive away and offers both an 18 and 9 hole option. They also serve food in the club house and on a Saturday morning, you can buy fresh fish directly from the local fisherman in the carpark.
Sorry no pets.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Please note that you will be required to pay a security deposit of two hundred euro directly to the owner in advance of your stay. They will contact you directly to arrange this, and the deposit will be returned to you after you leave providing there are no breakages or damages.
Your bed linen and towels are provided however we ask that these be used within the house only and that you bring along your own towels to be used at the beach.
