Communication top.

The location is fabulous. The beds were decent. the kitchen had generally enough items. It served fine as a base for this part of our trip, but definitely could have been a better experience.
communication with the host was sub-optimal. He was away and calls went to a message machine. All communication i got was cut and paste, nothing answered the specific questions i had once i got there. I had asked about parking when i first booked, and didn't get any info back until i got the instructions on how to get there a few days before the reservation. In that message, i was told that I could arrange for parking for the entire stay for 20 Euros but would have had to arrange for the parking fee with booking.com. However, on booking.com, it says to arrange it with the host. So, 27 Euro for each day of parking was a surprise and we were there for 3 days. I tried to message both the host and booking.com several times, but never heard back from either of them. Needless to say, this was extremely frustrating. Next, there are three bedrooms in the apartment, two with queen beds, and one with twins. We were a couple and a single. Only two of the beds (one queen and one twin) were made up, and there were no sheets for the other queen anywhere in the house. It isn't a deal breaker, but don't expect any privacy within the apartment. One bedroom door is half glass and the other two are loose fitting shutters. You need to choose between closing the curtains or getting heat/cool, and the curtains covered. doubtful anyone could see in, but lots of lights. There was a Nespresso machine, but the only coffee pods that were in the kitchen didn't fit that model. The toilet paper ran out the first day, so we had to buy more. The welcome package with info about the place that was mentioned in the email would have been nice, but it wasn't there. Luckily, there was a sheet with the wifi info and while the one we were supposed to use didn't work, one of the other ones did. I had to use Google lens to figure out the brand of the washer so that we could get the instructions!
