With a large family group, like ours (10 adults, 5 children, 2 dogs) it was fantastic to be able to allocate a room for each family (between 2 and 4 beds) and each one had their own en-suite and tv. Weymouth is lovely and the house could not be better located a few minutes stroll from the shops, restaurants, the beach, and the bars on the quay. Those wanting further exercise had the choice of the promenade or the fort. The dining area catered for all of us and the front lounge was a good place for the teenagers to retire away from adults. We really had an excellent stay.
This is not what wasn't liked but could be made better (everything was resolved but not after some faff or additional expense):
The parking hell of Weymouth was underplayed and led to early angst. In fact, once the JustPark app was discovered, with well-priced parking just a few minutes stroll away, it was all easy. Pointing that out, would have been useful.
There are a large number of cooking pans, but most would only be adequate for a few boiled eggs, and there are only 5 rings to cook on any way. Some of the pans have peeling teflon bases and should be replaced. Being faced with a deeply rusted wok was not nice. More, updated large cooking vessels would be helpful.
Instructions for rubbish removal were inadequate. The bins on the promenade do not take black bin bags but those on the quay will.

Location is really good plenty of space and it was very clean
The safe key was difficult to open the outdoor space is very small for a large party but there is the beach around the corner not suitable for guests with moving disabilities and perhaps pots and pans my need to be replaced

Great location, end of season getaway for old dart side. Comfortable for 12 people although it sleeps more. All the facilities you could possibly ask for. We will be returning
