Get back to nature at this beautiful countryside location. Set on the north side of the Isle of Wight, overlooking the Solent, this holiday park sits on a woodland hillside with lovely views out to sea.. 5 steps to entrance.
All on the Ground Floor:
Open plan living space.
Living area: Smart TV, Sofa Bed (Double) (Flexible Sleeping Only)
Dining area.
Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Gas Hob, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher
Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite: Toilet (Only)
Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bedroom 3: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Decking with garden furniture. Indoor heated swimming pool (shared with other properties on-site) with shower and changing facilities. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. . There’s plenty of family fun to be had on the park. Join the kids on the sports court for football or basketball, or let them burn off some energy at the adventure playground. After a busy day, enjoy a tasty meal in the Boathouse bar and restaurant before a spot of evening entertainment. If you really cannot wait until you get home to do your washing, there is a launderette on site. There is also a heated indoor swimming pool with a flume slide which the kids will love. The park is in a great spot on the island so pack your buckets and spades and head down to the beautiful Thorness Bay, which is a wonderful beach. The sunsets are incredible here, too.
Solent Retreat is a gorgeous caravan, with all the home comforts you will need to enjoy your stay. There are three bedrooms (two double and a twin room) perfect for a family stay. The kitchen and dining room are open plan to the living area, which means you can keep an eye on the kids whilst preparing dinner. A shower room finishes the inside accommodation. Outside, you can enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening on the wraparound deck.
The Isle of Wight is a popular holiday destination on the south coast of England. As soon as you arrive you will see why. If you can drag yourself away from the holiday park there is so much to do here, from horse riding to watersports and much much more. There are lots of beaches to choose from all around the coast of the island. The west coast is popular amongst the surfing community, whilst the south east coast is where you will find many seaside resorts including Shanklin, Sandown and Ventnor. Main attractions on the Isle of Wight include The Needles, an iconic famous landmark, Blackgang Chine which is the UK’s oldest theme park, or Osborne House, the holiday home to Queen Victoria. The list of things to see and do here are endless. Jump on a ferry and come and see for yourselves.
