Family Friendly Riverfront Retreat close to PDX with Hot Tub

Great place to stay along the river. Comfortable and welcoming; everything we needed for a few days R & R.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Haven. Clean, comfortable, relaxing. Some reviews mention the street noise, and while it exists, it didn’t take away from the property at all. We still enjoyed sitting outside on the deck, or soaking in the huge hot tub, nor did it impact our ability to sleep. The kitchen is full of cooking supplies and laid out logically. We also enjoyed the air hockey and games galore! They also had fishing gear, s’more making supplies, inner tubes and a host od other family friendly activities available….perfect for a family getaway! Honestly, one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. One thing to be aware of, but by no means a criticism or reason to avoid renting this property: the driveway is very steep right as you turn off the road, so make sure to slow down and put your signal on early to let drivers behind you know you’re turning. Rent this place with confidence. Communication with Marianne was excellent, as well. Five stars from us!

They have thought of everything! All the small touches from candy to popcorn to fishing poles. Everything you need to enjoy this property is here. We were from out of state and had many local visitors the whole trip. There were things for everyone to enjoy. Will definitely be back!

The house itself was great, and we enjoyed our stay overall. I had previously informed the host that we would be celebrating a birthday. After checkout, the host contacted me regarding a damaged storage lock in one of the bedrooms. At the time, I was unaware of any damage and communicated that honestly. The initial response from the host felt accusatory and dismissive, as if I had knowingly caused or concealed the issue and I would not be able to rent again. Upon investing further, a teen guest had been tampering with the lock. I apologized and of course will pay for the lock. The teen will be held accountable. I believe this situation could have been handled with more understanding and open communication. I would have appreciated the opportunity to explain and resolve the issue before being denied future stays especially my willingness to take responsibility and ensure it would not happen again.
