About this cottage rental

Self-catering cottage adjoining the owners' house, located in a converted farmhouse.

Independent access from the main road (busy thoroughfare).

Entrance through the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven, pod coffee makers, and a 4-burner induction hob.

A shower room with a 1x1.15m walk-in shower and washing machine. Toilet.

A living room with a sofa bed and a 130cm TV. Wi-Fi (fiber optic).

Upstairs, accessed via a spiral staircase. One bedroom with two 90x200cm beds (can be joined to form a 180x200cm bed), and one bedroom with a 180x200cm bed.
A high chair and cot are available.

A fan in each bedroom.

20m² courtyard with a terrace, barbecue, and outdoor furniture. Parking available in the courtyard (currently under construction). The owners offer facilities to accommodate 4 riders with their horses in a stable for an equestrian stopover (no riding lessons, no livery).

All-inclusive cottage (utilities, sheets, towels, and final cleaning). The Pays de Mormal is a region with exceptional natural and cultural heritage. Gateway to the Avesnois Regional Natural Park, its bocage landscape is an invitation to explore. A true biodiversity reserve, it offers nature lovers a privileged place to listen to and observe the local flora and fauna. It is home to the only deer population in the department, but many other species can be seen and heard: wild boar, fox, squirrel, roe deer, jay, owl, etc. The Mormal Forest is also the ideal playground for sports and nature enthusiasts. Located on the cycle route, there is a children's recreation center in the town of Le Quesnoy.

Numerous shops are nearby.

Le Quesnoy and the New Zealand Liberation Museum – Te Arawhata are 5 km away, Valenciennes is 16 km away, Maubeuge is 28 km away, Saint-Amand-les-Eaux is 30 km away, Mons (Belgium) is 43 km away, and Lille is 65 km away.
