About this apartment rental
Live an authentic experience of unique spirit and history at this charming renovated loft. Formerly a graphic studio, the old “bottega” was recently converted into a convenient ground floor apartment inside the walls of Lucca with lofted area, now ready to welcome its guests.
Equipped with modern facilities such as wi-fi, microwave and air-conditioning, the apartment is ideal for two people, but can accommodate up to four people with the help of the sofa-bed, and the additional convenience of two separate bathrooms.
Casa Smart is set in a tranquil yet central location in the hearth of the city center. You will find everything just outside your door, with the lively San Michele square at the end of the road and the historical museum of Palazzo Mansi just behind. Plenty of choice for tasting the local cuisine with the highlight of some of the most traditional restaurants a stone’s throw away (we’ll be happy to share our favorite ones!).
Think of narrow pedestrian streets, cozy cafés where to sit for hours enjoying one of the best marocchino coffee, fascinating clock towers representing the prestige of the ancient noble families such as the Guinigi, famous for having a tall oak tree on top. This is Lucca, also known as the city of 100 churches, where for centuries artisan and merchants blended with artists such as the famous composer Giacomo Puccini.

Convenient to the centre and the wall but far enough away to be quiet. Interesting layout with a few stairs up to the bedroom and a few down to the main bathroom and second bathroom/laundry. Nice to have a kettle and iron.
An additional blind for night time use would be very desirable.
Staff at Lucca were always very welcoming and accommodating.
As with many Italian apartments, I had some problems with the door lock. This was addressed by Lucca Apartments later when the new key provided also did not function reliably.
The main living area has two large double glass doors with a fairly sheer curtain facing the street. I was conscious of the fact that anyone walking down the street at night could see straight into the apartment. An additional blind for night time use would be very desirable.
Staff at Lucca were always very welcoming and accommodating.

This apartment was perfect for our 3 week stay. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby and made exploring the area nice and easy!

Stay in that former graphic studio was such a great experience. Place
is well eqipped, renovated and clean. Situated on a narrow pedestian street is so convenient. The staff is very helpful. For family of four it was perfect.
Could have more storage space (clozet).

We loved this spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and well appointed apartment, with great air conditioning. The location was really convenient and the property management was efficient and well organized. We would definitely stay here again!
