Villa Poggio Scalette has all of the comforts of a luxury home, with the classic view of Tuscany’s rolling hills that you dream about when you think about the region. Over 200 olive trees adorn our property, many of them over 100 years old.

The Living Space: redesigned by award winning interior designer filippo Bencivenni & elena Zene recreate a sense of substance - 3 bedrooms & the Tower (loft) along with 4 well-appointed bathrooms, our villa can comfortably accommodate 7 guests. Every room has carbon filtered air conditioning - ceiling fan & a spacious built-in armoire.
Stunning views of the surrounding valleys and hills (best enjoyed from the private terrace).
Modern Amenities: Ensuring your stay is nothing short of perfect, the villa is equipped with modern amenities, maintaining a delicate balance between the rustic charm of Tuscany and the conveniences of contemporary living.

Location and Nearby Attractions
Strategically located between Florence (45 min) and Lucca (20 min) and an hour to the Chianti Classico wine region as well as Bolgheri (Sassicaia, Ornellaia Sapaio etc)
Montecatini Alto is a short 15-minute walk or 8-minute drive. This charming hilltop village is from ancient Roman times, has its own castle, excellent restaurants and bars, and mesmerizing views.
Montecatini Terme is a quick drive downhill. It’s a great place to shop, eat and relax, with boutique shops, excellent dining spots and renowned spas.
While our villa is tucked away in a private, serene setting, it is also conveniently located just 12 minutes from major grocery stores and shopping outlets.

Villa is located on a scenic hillside in a well maintained and manicured property. Views overlooking the valley are impressive. Home is very spacious and comfortable. It is well maintained and appointed. Host’s were incredibly helpful and informative with almost any request. They made our stay an incredible experience. We can not wait to return. Thank you for everything.

It is nice to have a whole house just for yourself. Everything you need is there.It is the perfect location for daytrips to lucca, Pisa, Florence and Siena. And afterwards you can relax in the pool. We had a wonderfull time.

We spent two absolutely lovely weeks at Lauren and Roberto’s villa and felt at home right away. The house is beautiful, with stunning views, a great pool, and perfect outdoor spaces for relaxing or dining al fresco. Montecatini Alto is just a few minutes away—great for a bite, gelato, or appettivo—and we enjoyed day trips to Lucca, the coast, Florence (with great parking tips from our host Simone), Pistoia, and even a bit further to Siena.The home was super comfortable: cozy beds, blackout shutters (great for jet lag), AC and fans throughout, washer/dryer, and a well-stocked kitchen. Traveling with a 3-year-old was easy—Simone, our local host. had a pack and play ready for us, and popped by the shops for us to get supplies as we were arriving so late at night. Our favorite nearby meal was at Nonna Idelpha’s—just a few minutes away and absolutely worth making a reservation. But honestly, the best part of the stay was the warmth and care you could feel throughout the home. Simone was an incredible host—so helpful and responsive, with great recommendations.We’d return in a heartbeat. This place gave our family such special memories and truly felt like a home away from home.

We had a delightful experience at Villa Poggia. It was the ideal place for us to stay in Tuscany and from there, to explore the countryside.
