✨ A charming house with private pool on Lyon's doorstep

Located at 1 avenue de la République in Saint-Didier-au-Mont-d'Or, this character house of 350 m² over 3 levels captivates with its generous volumes, authentic details and vintage decoration that give it quintessential French charm. Classified as a 3-star furnished tourist accommodation and official partner of Lyon's Tourist Office, it offers an exceptional green setting, less than 20 minutes by car from Lyon city centre, in the heart of a charming Monts d'Or village. Perfect year-round for family or friends stays, or as a base for hiking in the Monts d'Or, in a very quiet environment.

You'll enjoy a large wooded garden and a private pool (open seasonally), ideal for family relaxation. The pool is accessible from May 15 to September 15; outside this period, its use is subject to prior authorisation. Please note that the pool is unheated.

With a total area of 350 m² spread over 2 levels, this superb property blends period charm and modern comfort:

Ground floor: a vast living-dining room with large arched windows offering panoramic views of the Monts d'Or, a decorative fireplace and beautiful French beamed ceiling. This room opens directly onto the terrace, also oriented towards the view.



🍽️ Fully equipped kitchen

On the ground floor, next to the living room, you'll find a large fully equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing convivial meals:
hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator, cookware, dishes, etc.

We provide some emergency supplies: rice, pasta, and basic essentials.

1st floor, accessed via an internal staircase:

A cozy second lounge in boudoir style, leading to the following bedrooms:

A large bedroom with queen-size bed 160×200.

A bedroom with king-size bed 180×200 and its vintage washbasin.

A bedroom with double bed 140×200.

A spacious bathroom with bathtub, in retro style with blue tiles reminiscent of the 1960s.

A separate toilet on this floor.

2nd floor:

A 22 m² master suite with queen-size bed 160×200 and period private bathroom with shower and double sink.

A bedroom with two single beds 90×200 and washbasin, ideal for children.

In the hallway, the house's second toilet.


🛁 Bathroom

The house features several bathrooms for everyone's comfort:

1st floor: a large bathroom with bathtub, in retro style, perfect for relaxation.
Upper floor: a private bathroom in the master suite with shower and double sink, plus washbasins in some bedrooms.

Bed linen and towels provided.
We supply soap and shower gel from the eco-friendly GREENLAB brand.


💻 Modern comfort

The house has Wi-Fi to stay connected, work remotely or plan your visits.
For your safety and the property's protection, the house is also equipped with an alarm system, easy to arm and disarm.

🔐 Access & check-in

Entry is by appointment with a member of our team, who will welcome you, show you around the house and explain the key points. The appointment is arranged together in the days before arrival.
Check-in possible from 3 PM to 7 PM at the latest. Check-out by 11 AM maximum on departure day.

For stays longer than one week, a mandatory cleaning visit by our dedicated team is scheduled every 2 weeks (already included in the price). For any additional cleaning outside scheduled visits: 200E supplement per cleaning.

Late check-out until 1 PM: +18E (request the day before departure).

Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors.

On arrival, insert the gate code to open the gate. Parking spaces are available inside the property. Gate width: 2.36m

The house is accessible by car in about 20 minutes from the center of Lyon (depending on traffic).

You can park several vehicles safely inside the property, in the space provided to the left of the electric entrance gate.

Les Monts d'Or and the village of Saint-Didier-au-Mont-d'Or are also served by TCL bus lines, allowing you to reach Lyon by public transport (detailed information available in the Traveler's Guide and on the TCL website).

Keys are handed over by Memorable Place staff, and a time of arrival must be arranged in advance.
