About this house rental
Large 1,456 square foot country home with 1 acre yard for your enjoyment and room for the kids to safely play.
Newly remodeled, spacious open common area including dining room, living room, kitchen, Master bedroom with ensuite bath, 2 other bedrooms with queen size beds and a 2nd full bathroom..
The 3 bedrooms are beautiful and house sturdy, comfortable furniture. All rooms have Queen size beds. Master has ensuite bathroom that has also been freshly remodeled and has a very nice shower/tub combo with a Skylight. Also has a separate shower stall allowing 2 to shower at the same time.
Very spacious dining room which opens to the roomy living room with leather couches (with reclining ends) and a gas fireplace. A large HD Smart TV is mounted above the gas fireplace.
The kitchen is spacious and has a stove with oven, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer and microwave. It also has enough pots and pans and cooking utensils to prepare your favorite meals. Place settings for 8. Coffee Pot included, as well as a Kuerig. We strive to ensure the cleanest possible house for your enjoyment and safety. All surfaces are cleaned and disinfected after each guest stay. Washer and Dryer provided, as well as Laundry Detergent and Fabric Softener.
If you do not want to cook inside, step outside to the rear deck covering almost 200 square feet and grill your favorites on the supplied gas grill while enjoying the stunning sunsets this property delivers almost daily. The property is adjacent to an abandoned vineyard and has a very country feel offering beautiful views. There is also a deck on the front of the house allowing you to enjoy the views to the east.
We are located right outside of the Geneva State Park, including the Geneva State Park Marina and the Geneva on the Lake Strip. The property has a very large parking area for approximately three 25-30 foot boats and/or RVs, etc. that does not block the driveway and allows you and your fishing buddies to enjoy a stay in a large comfortable home.
We are also in close proximity to most of the Ashtabula and Lake County Wineries, 5.0 miles to the Harpersfield Covered Bridge Metro Park, 4.9 miles to The Spire Institute and 3 miles to Downtown Geneva - Home of the Grape Jamboree.
Perfect for reunions, group outings, corporate meetings, and family gatherings.

I'm frustrated to write a poor review, because this property is prime location and we really enjoyed how close it was to everything but was still off the strip. I never received check in information, and as vrbo listed, i emailed the host asking for it the day before our trip. No answer. I thought maybe it would come closer to check in. Nope. Check in was for 4pm, i messaged again and included my phone number thru VRBO after triple checking with no answer. Waited over half an hour. I tried to call the host (it was an option) to which it rang til voicemail but was full and i couldnt leave a message. I then had to call VRBO for assistance. They had no check in info and accessed my profile with permission to which they couldnt find it either and also saw my messages with no response. They were somehow able to contact the host and get the info. We were able to get in after 5pm. No apology message received from the host. No, did you get in ok? Nothing. We then went to the beach the next day to return to a truck with 3 older men standing outside the front of the house. I approached them to find they were checking out the house for renovations coming up. One said, "Debbie was trying to let you know". How? No phone call. No text. No message. No email. Now, 3 strange men walking around the house, for over 30mins.Charcoal grill, not propane. Outdoor area very overgrown out back, weeds all around back porch area. Air conditioning couldnt keep up, 84 degrees our first night.
