We came to find solace, around a family memorial service, in a stately home
in a peaceful environment. This remarkable property was just what we were looking for. Jennifer and David were warm and gracious hosts. Jennifer is also a remarkable interior decorator. Their home has many unique and antique items. We really appreciate that as we also host our own vrbo..
We didn’t read the fine print and didn’t realize that we couldn’t invite a small group onto the property to share the beauty. This group included the deceased’s daughter. We worked around it, but wish that I had read the fine print more closely. The peaceful, rustic charm outweighed the lack of sharing it with non-resident guests.
If you want to get away from the city, Briones is a beautiful place to stay. We are glad to have experienced it.
