The B&B was cute and comfortable, away from the main road in a complex so very quiet! Totally a non hotel experience cosy, quaint and creaky in all the right ways! Has a fridge and mini oven and microwave and washing machine as well as a sitting room nook so great for a long term stay! Very cool with efficient air-conditioning! I was in Shanghai during the humid summer so a cool quiet rom was a welcome relief!
The directions were only provided in Chinese even though I requested them in English- and through We Chat, so we could not translate them easily. When checking I we got hopelessly lost and when we finally found the right complex we were wandering around- finally we found a person who spoke English and Chinese and was able to call the host. It was late and after a flight and was very stressful!

Quaint quirky old world style and comfort, my second stay here and I will book it from now on every time I am in Shanghai. Quiet, clean great amenities including a washing machine! Great area with loads to do nearby!
