Villa La Gioiosa

Alessandra was a wonderful host. She was helping us before and during our stay a lot. All her recommendations were spot on from food to wine tasting.We ate so well and so much all week! The local cooks and local restaurant were excellent value for money and they took dietary restrictions very well into account. The location was excellent in the middle of Piedmont with 20-30 minutes drive to pletthora of wonderful vineyards and small villages. My recommendation is to Rent multipe small cars instead of minibus for a bigger group due to the roads and also parking at the villa and in the villages. The villa was awesome with very nice rooms for all. We chose to order food but the facilities for cooking are also good. The standard of all facilities were really good. And cleanliness 10+. Very nice trekking possibilities around the house if you don't mind elevation.

If you go shopping before arriving, buy toilet paper! Villa only provides 2 rolls per room. There is a sauna on the property which is super nice. However, as finns we would like the oven to be a bit more powerful to get good heat and löyly and the seats/benches would be higher. It is a sauna rule that your feet should be higher than the oven.
