We had such a lovely stay at the Cosy House and it was the perfect base for our weekend surf escape.
Braunton is close to so many great surfing beaches, including Saunton, Croyde and Putsborough, and offers up some delicious eateries and pubs on the doorstep.
The house has everything you need including fully equipped kitchen, back yard (for post-surf admin!), and a wood burner to warm up from the cold.
Catherine was a great host: welcoming, proactive and quick to respond when messaging and happy to help with any queries we had.
Just a note that transport beyond Braunton isn't the easiest without a car (taxis and buses are not a guarantee)!

Lovely property, very comfortable for our needs. Great location. Option of a garage to park the car.
front door and window in the hallway was quiet an open view to people passing by, especially when your coming downstairs stairs first thing in the morning ( not a pretty sight )😊 a choice of blinds/ curtains would be good, especially at night.

The house was spotless and very well presented. It was a short few minutes walk in to central Braunton.
The only downside for me was the parking but that’s the trade off with being so close to town. There was a normal sized garage which you could park in but my SUV did not fit so we had to find street parking or use the car park on caen street.

A sweet property and an easy walk to the high street. Super clean and comfortable. Felt like home. Would definitely stay again.
