Je moet een beetje geduld hebben met het openen van de deur van het appartement. Via de WiFi gaat het beter.

Central location, good facilities once one has managed to get into the apartment

I unfortunately cannot recommend this place due to two main reasons: 1.) Check-in formalities (online as well as when reaching the property) are very complicated, exaggerated and cumbersome. 2.) The heating is restricted To 1.): Complicated Check-In: One has to make a video of oneself with one's passport before being granted a final booking confirmation. Once reaching the property, one needs to have international roaming on one's mobile phone in order to open the first door. And one needs to have sufficient battery in the mobile phone. If your phone doesn't work for a certain reason (no roaming; battery down), it's IMPOSSIBLE to check into this property. Then you have to pass a total of 3 thick doors (in a small Italian town which hardly has 70'000 inhabitants...), the last door being the worst and most difficult one to open. Entering this property felt to us almost like an escape room game. Although we have studied all the instructions carefully, it was very challenging to be able to access this property - not exactly what you fancy after a long and tiring journey! Why not leaving the keys with someone who works in a nearby bar/shop, or with someone who lives in the building? It would personalize and simplify a lot! To 2.): Heating is restriced: The temperature of the shower is restricted to 50 degrees celcius. How about people who love hotter showers, especially on cold and rainy winter days? Besides that, the room temperature was restricted to 20 degrees celcius, and it's being regulated by an app which is with the landlord. Only after several times of insisting that we are feeling cold and uncomfortable, the temperature got risen a tiny bit. When we were standing in front of the locked windows, we could see how the curtain was moving due to a draft (wind) coming from the window. The building is old though the windows are new. Yet, it can feel cold in there on a windy and rainy winter day.
