Souterrain aan zee

We had a great stay at the Souterrain aan zee. It's a cozy small apartment, nicely arranged with all the amenities needed(kitchen, coffee machine,water boiler, enough plates/cups/mugs/pans etc..hair dryer, big and modern bathroom,a terrace even though it's a Souterrain! You can smoke there) For a family of 4 it's good,more suitable for families with small kids,as the smaller room has a bunk bed,but if you don't mind you can be two couples. TV in the living room and in the big sleeping room. Location is great,5 mins walk to the beach, 15-20 approx to the city. Vomer Supermarket close by,it has a big variety of products. The owners are very fast with answering questions by booking.com messages. The owners welcomed us with beautiful tulips on the table,that we could have taken, unfortunately we had a long car drive and we didn't 💐 We had a great stay and if one day we are in Noordwijk again, we would choose for sure and be better prepared to take the tulips!

-As it is a Souterrain the accommodation is a bit dark. If you don't plan to spend too much time in the accommodation, it's not bothering at all. Even if, at rainy days the accommodation gets cozy. We had a guitar so we had a good time:) -the stairs to go down are a bit small,if you may have a handicap/difficulty to go stairs better ask the owner if there is another way to go down. -as a Souterrain it might get a bit colder than expected,but the owner provided us with a lot of moveable heaters to have in each room,which heated up well.

The flat was ideally located and beautifully decorated :-) the owner was super nice, welcoming, helpful and kind :-)
