Superbly maintained and beautifully presented (this was recently refurbished so we are extra spoiled no doubt). Excellent communications from host Chris. Feels very homely. I do struggle with such very modern equipments in the kitchen but all instructions are clear and to hand. Nothing was missing here and we loved it - the village is so together and the beach so close and beautiful too. This is a truly quiet and very peaceful place. Considering the character of the cottage this is a luxurious stay. We really did love it. Beyond Ebb Tide, the shops are enough and more. The village is a great credit to those who live here permanently and take such care of those visiting. Sea was beautiful to bathe in and felt safe on the calmest days. Fab' bus service to busier places if you want them. Beautiful St Just opposite is also open, what a treat - say one for us.
Only having to leave it all behind! There are steep slopes around the village (this is right by the beach after all) and the stairs in the property are good for exercise (but caveat if you do have problems with steep stairs). Parking is away from the property but not a great distance. The road is immediately outside the door - take care for vehicles moving a little fast coming down that space when leaving the property with your spade, bucket, ice cream money, foldy, blanket, wet suit, fishing rod,.....
