The apartment was almost brand new and had a fully equipped kitchen. The beds were huge, even the small beds can easily fit two adults. The flat was close to the lake where we took a lot of walks in the snow. Our host was super nice, everytime we reached out, they tried to help us, even offering an early check-in option at 6am for just 250SEK extra. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future.
When we called to ask for an extension for one night, we were told that the apartment was already booked, but they said they‘ll see what they can do. A few ours later, my credit card was charged for the additional night, but for more than twice the price than our previous nights – Without confirming with us the increased price. When we called later that day, we found that it was a misunderstanding and that our host was not aware of booking.com charging the money right away without prior confirmation. Even though we were able to agree on a compromise, it is always annoying to deal with such issues during vacations. Besides this, the apartment had a noise detection alarm that went off in the evening. We only had dinner (not a party or anything comparable), so we feel it was a bit oversensitive.
