- Why is the Camden side preferred? For the amazing sunsets, of course!
- Why are lake's coves desirable? Way less noise, less boats, easier swimming, better fishing, more birdlife and quieter, calmer waters. A savvy renters looks for a cove!
WHAT MAKES THIS AREA SO POPULAR?
- 1/2 mile to Clearwater Marina whose address is 2029 Baron Dekalb Rd, Camden SC (for a roundabout location of our rentals);
- 5 mins to Wateree Recreational Area & Dollar General (a very good one) that will have what you forgot;
- 4 miles to Wateree Marina (largest area marina);
10 mins to Bear's Den (waterfront bar) & Dock 97 (upscale lakefront dining);
- 15 mins to Carolina Cup, Colonial Cup Horse Races & Springdale Race Course;
- 12 miles to downtown Camden: Less than 20 mins to Wal-Mart, Starbucks, Chic-fil-A & upscale dining at Sam Kendall's, Broad & Vine (winery) and Salud Mexican Kitchen;
- 30 mins to South Carolina Equine Park Facility, Carolina Motorsports Park & HOTH Ranch;
- 40 mins to Carolina Adventure World;
- 45 mins to Columbia, SC, Home to the Gamecocks;
- 1 hr to Neptune Island Waterpark;
- 1 hr to Carowinds Theme Park;
- 1.25 hrs to Congaree National Forest; and

LAKE WATEREE: Over 20 square miles and 200 miles of shoreline! Typically a beach-entry type lake depending on the water levels. We also overlook one of Wateree's islands, are in a cove and no, there are no alligators this far north (Floridians always ask).
WATER TOYS: Guests have access to 1 kayak and 1 paddle board, but also the potential to share water toys with our three adjacent lake houses (each has a couple water toys that are shared frequently).
THE EXTRAS:
- Contactless Entry: Arrive to a clean home and an access code to the front door. Help is just a phone call, text or message away as we have both a co-host and a property manager available for questions and/or needs.
- We do not approve extra visitors or events without permission.
- $50/dog & no cats. More than one dog requires approval.
- Cancellations: In addition to our cancellation policy, if you were to cancel last-minute AND we were able to rebook, we will refund what the next group pays to you! We have no interest in getting paid twice, just being made whole off your last-minute cancellation.

Clean house and they had everything you could ever need! The views were amazing! If I could give 10 stars I would! Will be back for sure! Host was fast to respond when I had a question! Will tell all family to stay when the go out to visit the family!

This place was perfect for me, my small pup and my best friend. There is direct access to the lake so we brought our creek boats along. My best friend fished every day all day. My pop was even able to join us daily for morning boat rides. Having access to a ramp was very handy. I especially liked the small patch of woods next to the property. It was nice walking the dog there. The neighborhood was quiet and the sunsets were amazing. The house was stocked so I just brought food and cooked all week. I really enjoyed the cozy little place.

Beautiful yard and view. Comfortable for a small family. Great deck, plenty of chairs and outdoor seating. We will be back.
