We were a group of 4 women travelling to visit a friend in Sidney and enjoy the surrounding area. It is very hard to find accommodations where you have 4 separate sleeping areas and sufficient bathrooms for this type of group. Spring Gate Estate is a spacious and well equipped rental house on a huge estate near Elk Lake which is a lovely area that feels like you are out in the country while being very close to Sidney where we wanted to visit. It was perfect!

Het huis was goed gefaciliteerd. Contact met eigenaar was goed. OP loopafstand van het meer
Het huis had aan de buitenkant achterstallig onderhoud. Ramen waren super vies. Tuin aan de achterkant alleen maar onkruid en overwoekerde tuinkas. We dachten in eerste instantie dat we bij het verkeerde huis stonden. Het estate waar het huis staat is toe aan een goede opknapbeurt. Jammer, want als het allemaal goed bij gehouden was, was het een fantastische plek.

The house is spacious and very comfortable for a family stay. It’s fully equipped with everything you need and more. The area is beautiful, with deer and raccoons occasionally passing by, and it’s close to the lake. Highly recommended.
