You never know what to expect when you stay in a vacation apartment or home, but this one was so comfortable and relaxing. We stayed 6 nights. It was perfect for both us and the dogs. It was a very safe area, and if I were a woman travelling alone, I would feel safe and comfortable here (this is Dave's wife writing the review) There are several grocery markets very close by, maybe 15 minutes walk. The bedding was very comfortable. We didn't feel it too small, but for 2 people, if you are against the wall, you will need to either wake up or crawl over the other person. There is both a drip and a pod style coffee maker, as well as fast boiling pot and a microwave. Although it is not a big apartment, it was set up very nicely and efficiently and the couch is comfortable. The shower and bathroom were both great. There is a small fenced in area with grass if you have a dog. The neighborhood is great for walks and it is very close to Speyer without the hustle and bustle. There is a nice forest nearby for walking your dog. It is a basement apartment with someone above you, but they were not at all intrusive and it felt very private. There was plenty of natural light and it didn't feel like a dark basement. There is a cute private terrace and sitting are at the bottom of the stairs outside the entrance that would be perfect in the warmer months. Everything worked as it should and the host was very responsive to messages. Highly recommended.

Unterkunft war sauber und modern eingerichtet. Ich bin mit 2 Hunden angereist. Das war kein Problem. Der Terrassenbereich ist oben eingezäunt, sodass man unbeschwert auf der Terrasse sitzen kann ohne den Hund anleinen zu müssen. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden.
Es fehlen Fliegengitter. Leider waren sowohl an den Fenstern als auch an der Tür keine, sodass im Sommer Fliegen und Mücken rein kommen und ein nächtliches Lüften schlecht möglich ist ohne Mückenstiche zu erhalten

Die Lage des Apartments nur wenig Autominuten von Speyer entfernt war ideal, um Ausflüge zu machen. Auch die vielen Rheinseen sind in wenigen Autominuten erreichbar. Heidelberg ist eine gute halbe Autostunde entfernt. Die Wohnung selbst war Teil eines Hauses, aber sehr gut abgetrennt. Wir waren überrascht, wie gut die Küche ausgestattet war: Filterkaffeemaschine, Kapselmaschine und Wasserkocher waren vorhanden, ebenso mehrere Sorten Tee und Kaffee. Im Kühlschrank fanden wir eine kleine Flasche Sekt und eine Flasche Wasser, was bei den heißen Temperaturen eine Wohltat war.
Die Wohnung war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, das Bad RIESENGROSS und modern. Vor der Wohnung fanden wir ausreichend Sitzgelegenheiten unter einem Schirm, die wir vor allem an den lauen Abenden gerne nutzten. Wir hatten auch zwei Maltesermischlingsmädchen dabei, alle fühlten sich sehr wohl dort.
Nur für Menschen, die keinen Garten und kein Verständnis für Natur haben: Am Abend hatten wir auf der Terrasse Besuch von einigen Tigernacktschnecken.

Die Ferienwohnung ist komplett für die Größe durchdacht und liebevoll gestaltet und das Bad lies keine Wünsche offen.
Unser Hund war auch herzlich Willkommen.
