Maze was just what we needed for our short stay in Hull. Clean, comfortable accommodation, and free parking. The staff we met were really friendly and helpful. Also benefitted from later check out than hotels offer, which was great. We were able to get food locally, which was really handy.
It was hard to get hot water for washing up or showers and there were not enough forks in our room. TVs picture quality was also poor.

Good location. Shops right at the door step and plenty of parking spaces. Spacious apartment and secure door entry. Beds were comfy but the bed base moves easily which wasn't that comfortable.
Floors were really dirty. Not just needs a vacuum dirty but needs proper mopping dirty. After 20 min of us being in the apartment I found the bottom of my daughter's socks absolutely dirty. I noticed dried food stain spots near the kitchen area which were covered in dirt. The reception was already closed and we had already unpacked for the night so I didn't want to call the out of hours number to change the place. After some time of walking barefoot, our feet started making sticky feet noises. Mentioned it to the lady at the reception during check out who said they are cleaned before every stay which I highly doubt. Some of the pans were dirty as well.
The main entry door doesn't open immediately after recognising the key card. I had to try 3 times every time I had to enter which was annoying. Place lives up to the name of the maze. Too many turns to get to the apartment the first time. Figured out the closest entry point later which made it easier.
