I wish there was something in between the yes or no recommendation, because I’m a bit torn due to my current situation.
First off, the hotel is stunning and located in a fantastic area. The bellhops and restaurant/bar staff were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, even offering great recommendations for local spots to check out. The room itself was beautifully designed, and housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything tidy. The turndown service was a nice touch, and my favorite part was the fresh fruit provided upon arrival—a thoughtful and refreshing detail.
However, the comfort of the beds left something to be desired, as they weren’t particularly comfortable. Still, the overall ambiance and service made for a pleasant stay.
My biggest concern, though, is the incidental deposit policy. My girlfriend and I stayed for four nights, and the hotel placed a $750 hold, which isn’t unreasonable in itself. However, I was shocked to receive less than half of it back without any explanation or an itemized invoice. Despite multiple attempts to request an invoice and clarification, I have only received one response—directing me to the “appropriate personnel.” Since then, I have heard nothing back, which is both frustrating and concerning. At this point, I feel like I’ve been overcharged without justification, and the lack of communication makes the situation even worse.
If the hotel provides any clarification or resolves this issue, I will update my review accordingly. Until then, I would advise future guests to be cautious and ensure they receive a detailed breakdown of their charges before checking out.
