WS Louvre - Casanova

The apartment is perfectly located, just a 3-minute walk from Place Vendôme and within walking distance of the Grands Magasins, Opéra, the Tuileries, the Louvre, and the Seine embankment. The location is truly excellent. Inside, there is everything needed for a short stay: a microwave, kettle, stove and kitchenware. The area is full of restaurants and shops, there is an Eric Kayser bakery right across the street. There is also a ceiling fan, which was appreciated during the warm weather.

In the bathroom, the sink drained very slowly, which made it almost unusable for washing your face properly. The sound insulation is very poor. Even though the apartment was on the 4th floor, street noise felt as if the window was open right above the traffic. Noise from the corridor was also clearly audible. My request to the management to possibly change the room was completely ignored. Even a simple reply like “no availability” would have been appreciated. The kettle is very small and takes quite a long time to heat water. Access is also a bit inconvenient: you need to enter a code for the building entrance, then another code for a second door, and finally a code for the apartment itself. It means your phone always needs to be charged and at hand.

Posizione centralissima, abbiamo raggiunto quasi tutto a piedi. La stanza era ampia per due persone e sono rimasta stupita anche dalla presenza di strumenti come la macchinetta del caffè con cialde a disposizione che non sempre viene fornita in questa tipologia di struttura.

Mi è piaciuto tutto.
