Had a lovely stay in islington—very close to Highbury/Islington station and convenient to bus lines as well. Lovely neighborhood with lots of places to eat and shop, quiet and off the beaten path. However, Wish we’d realized there were so many stairs (one bedroom on each level) since we had someone challenged with mobility issues, also the bathtub on the upper floor was very deep/high and a little challenging to get out of so whoever stays here has to be very nimble (not to mention carrying luggage up 2-3 flights). Laundry dryer was not great so required 3x to get stuff dry just FYI. So overall we enjoyed it but the stairs were a lot (esp. after long days of walking around London).

Great location that suited our needs for a family event nearby. Also an excellent home base for visiting London. Tube station, grocery, restaurants and pubs all within walking distance.
