What a peaceful location . Bike and dog walk by the front door. Swimming pool , shop on site. So quiet and what a beautiful setting . The only minor glitch was the WiFi kept cutting out . We accept that happens in the country

Absolutely wonderful stay.. We came up for a family wedding and it was so nice to be able to have accommodation near the rest of the family.
The only slight negative point, we would have liked to lit the fire when we arrived as it was cold, but the shop was shut so we couldn't get any logs. but overall a fantastic stay, thank you.

We stayed in greenhowes cottage, was a lovely, quiet little property having everything we needed in it. We greatly appreciated having the use of the private pool which we could book daily. The shop was great to have on hand and the gentleman that ran it was extremely helpful when we asked for recommendations. Great location to explore Windmere, Hawkshead, Ambleside and Grasmere but definitely need a car to explore. We would highly recommend and would stay again.

A beautiful estate & cozy cottage albeit a little tired. Kitchen well equipped including a welcome hamper. A shoe/boot storage unit would be useful. Swimming pool was non-operational but was offered the use of the Lakeside Hotel & Spa which we did on two occasions. Plenty to keep all ages occupied in & around the lakes. Will certainly return & recommend.
