About this cottage rental
Welcome to Foresters Cottage, 4 Stars and 100% Cleanliness awarded Visit England. Traditional, detached country cottage within the owners private grounds. On the border of the New Forest and East Dorset. Ground level accommodation (no stairs). Sleeps 4 + infant (cot and high chair provided). Ideal for families or couples. Two bedrooms, a king-size double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Each bedroom has an en-suite shower room, wc and hand basin. Open plan living, dining and well equipped fitted kitchen, including oven, hob, microwave, washer dryer, dishwasher, fridge freezer. Fenced and furnished garden with barbecue, ideal for alfresco dining. Games Room with table tennis and football game. Easy walk or cycle into Moors Valley Country Park, Go-Ape forest zip wire, Tree top trail, Steam Railway, Ringwood Forest walking and cycling trails for all the family, cycles can be hired. Access to all parts of the New Forest and a choice of beaches for seaside pursuits. New Forest activities include riding, cycling, canoeing, paddle boarding, archery etc. A wealth of history surrounds us with a choice of National Trust and English Heritage properties, galleries and museums. Farmers Markets, pubs and restaurants, beach side bistros, supermarkets and farm shops supply fresh and local food and menus. Our location offers a huge choice to visitors of all ages. This was a great cottage. Plenty of room for a family of four. A good base for some days out in the area and perfect for a day in too. Jean was a wonderful host. Everything was explained via email before so we exactly what to expect and notes at the property so we knew what was expected and how to use everything.
Having the outside area to sit in the sun and enjoy a bbq made a few of our evenings.

2 couples and 2 lively dogs 😊 we had a lovely weekend in Jeans cottage. It was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Jean was very helpful with advice and recommendations. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a short notice break for family reasons. The property was excellent for our purposes and the welcome was very friendly, inclding for our dog.
The property was comfortable and the facilities excellent, Things like the WiFi worked well.
The outside area is secure and this is essential for dogs.
There is a good range of instructions for appliances etc and this was very helpful.
All in all, Foresters Cottage is an excellent place to stay.
