Rainbows End

The property was spacious, clean and comfortable. We were able to enjoy our time in the property, and would be willing to stay again.

The basic amenities were somewhat lacking, we had to buy more toilet roll and shower gel etc. It is understood that though the owner doesn't need to provide such amenities it would have made the overall stay slightly more enjoyable. For what is a little expense to the owners.

It is a lovely clean and spacious home with a friendly and helpful owner who lives nearby. We had no car and were dependent on public transport to get out and about. There’s an hourly bus service into Chester close to the property except on Sundays and bank holidays. The canal is a short walk from the property with canal boats moored near the Cheshire Cat pub that serves excellent food. There’s another busy and friendly pub in the village and a small shop open until quite late. The pretty village of Christleton has won many awards for being best kept village.

The location was great, easy to get to and nice and quiet. the house is fabulous, well equipped and loads of space. off street parking is a bonus.

The bed mattress was a bit too soft for our liking, But it was still a lovely say.

Beautiful house, felt like a home. The owner is lovely and helpful.
