Location. Friendly landlord. Decent room and shared areas.
The one tenant was a nightmare which sadly ruined our last night of a 2 week stay. But otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Neat and clean everywhere
It is not a “self-catering studio” as described, but a bedroom in a shared house! The ‘70s property has thin walls so even loud mobile phone conversations in one’s neighbour’s room causes unwelcome disturbance. Although clean these are the bare basics and the house could do with professional redecoration and updating throughout. It is really difficult to find if one is unfamiliar with the quirky layout and street numbering in Milton Keynes. Why is the full address not given on the confirmation page acknowledgement? i.e. OLDBROOK, MILTON KEYNES, Buckinghamshire.
