Accogliente appartamento in Corso Italia

You really can’t beat the location — right in the heart of Cortina, across a tiny alley from a lively café-bar where locals sip espresso in the morning and Aperol spritzes in the afternoon. There’s also a great pizza-by-the-slice place next door, which made us very happy! The apartment itself is spacious and well equipped for a holiday stay — three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen that’s functional (if not fancy). Everything works, even if the furniture has seen better days. Check-in on a Sunday was smooth, and once we got the keys, everything was easy.

Communication with the rental agency was confusing — our date change didn’t seem to reach their system, so we had to re-enter all the guest details twice. The main downside though was cleanliness: the visible areas were okay, but under the beds and behind the sofa looked like they hadn’t seen a vacuum in years. We decided not to look again! The beds could be more comfortable, and there’s no dedicated parking, which might be tricky in high season, but worked great for us in October with free parking a 5-7min walk away.
