During my Christmas holiday, I stayed at the Hotel und Restaurant Adler and found it to be a charming, though somewhat dated, establishment. The hotel’s location is a major highlight, serving as an excellent base for exploring both the Black Forest and Alsace, making it perfect for travelers looking to immerse themselves in the region.
The room I stayed in, while old-fashioned, was suitable for a solo traveler like myself. It provided the basic comfort I needed, though it’s clear the hotel could benefit from some updates. Interestingly, the manager mentioned that renovations are in the works, which could significantly enhance the guest experience in the future.
One of the standout aspects of my stay was the manager’s warm and accommodating nature. He made me feel welcome and was attentive to my needs throughout my visit. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to dine at the hotel’s restaurant, which I regret, as I’ve heard great things about the menu.
Overall, Hotel und Restaurant Adler offers a cozy stay with a personal touch, and with the upcoming renovations, it holds the promise of becoming an even more appealing destination for future guests.
