Great location, opposite the Alpe Express Gondola. You can walk over the road and ski straight down to the gondola station. We parked in the car park (by church over the road), and kept our skis in the top box, walked over each day and then skied down from the car. Takes you directly to Bergers.
Apartment is small but well equipped. Two sofas in the lounge, that can be used as single beds, plus an additional roll out single bed. Small kitchen area but plenty of utensils/crockery/pots and pans.
Beds were comfortable, good quality bedding and towels provided. Apartment very warm, we turned the heating off all week. Balcony really nice with fab views. The front bedroom is a good size with a beautiful view.
Having two bathrooms, including a bath, is fab. Hot water was never ending.
Lots of lovely shops, restaurants, bars, take-aways and supermarkets, right outside the block. Also right by the open air ice rink and swimming pool.
The second bedroom isn’t really a bedroom. It’s more of a sleeping area. The mattress fits exactly in the space, you can’t stand in the room to dress/undress…you have to crawl straight onto the bed from the doorway. There is no door on the second bedroom and no window. The entrance is next to a very steep, narrow staircase, so would be a bit risky with children. There is a stair gate at the top of the stairs, which even as adults, we pulled across at night.
