About this villa rental
This is a beautiful, traditional home located in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, surrounded by a thriving forest, its beautiful gardens and the narrow winding country lane that passes by. It is within a 30-minute drive from the city of Florence and it offers an ideal holiday retreat providing an elegant private outdoor pool, wonderful interiors and even a private sauna and a small indoor pool.
The property consists of 700-acre fenced-off estate beautifully set among the rolling hills of vineyards and olive groves. When you enter the main building, you are greeted by a comfortable living room, elegantly equipped with sofas, chairs, benches and a traditional open fireplace. Alongside this, the dining room with its beamed ceiling and the exquisite chandelier provides a feeling of warmth and luxury for every meal. The kitchen is equipped with modern and very functional amenities, among this we find a huge oven, a double sink, a dishwasher and a large wooden table which is ideal for your morning breakfast.
On this ground floor, there is one large bedroom while the other four bedrooms are located on the upper floors. All bedrooms have double beds and a living area with either a chair, desk or bookshelf. In one double bedroom we also find two extra single beds. The furniture in all rooms is elegant with a traditional tuscan taste and complemented by tasteful décor. There are five spacious and elegant bathrooms alongside each of the bedrooms. All bathrooms are with a shower, WC, bidet and washbasin.
In the annex you will find, on the ground floor, a living room with a fireplace and a very comfortable sofa bed and also a small kitchenette. The upper floor houses 2 bedrooms, a twin and a double bedroom that share a bathroom with a shower. In the annex there is also a spa area with hot tub and sauna. This makes this property an ideal setting for spending your vacation in total relax.
In the garden of the property there is a fabulous outdoor pool which is perfect to sunbathe under the warm tuscan sun but there is also another, smaller indoor pool and a sauna which provides an ideal place to have a relaxing dip, whatever the weather! There is also a large covered terrace for an al fresco dinner or perfect to simply sip a good glass of local wine!

Property is lovely, typical Tuscan vibe in the centre of the city. Host is quick in communicating, nice welcome, would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay, my only criticism is that the upstairs loft gets hot despite the multiple air conditioners and there is a large flight of stairs to reach the apartment.

We enjoyed the apartment and our stay in Florence. The only negatives were the noise at night (all night) and the problems flushing the toilet in the loft. The apartment is centrally located with plenty of restaurants and sights to see.

This loft is super cute and very close by to all of Florence literally. We could just walk to the Duomo, Ufizi, Gucci Garden, Piazza Republica, San Lorenzo market, train station. it is close to so many restaurants, gelaterias, museums.
Andrea made our check in process seamless. She was sweet to share the popular food places that locals liked. One of the best was the Gusta Pizza. Although it is on the side of the bridge, the commute was worth the pizza there. We checked out most of the places she suggested.
Tomasso was quick in answering our questions from the beginning starting from booking the property to accommodating early check in etc
The loft has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and not a lot of space otherwise as in not much space in the living room, it is kinda crammed in there. There is a small kitchenette - which had a microwave but no plates that you could use, the water from the kitchen tap could be used for drinking but there were no glasses. It didn't really matter to us because we dined at the restaurants all the time and had no to-go's. The wash basin in the bathroom upstairs did not drain well, the shower stall did not have any racks to put soap or shampoo. The restroom did not have any racks to put toiletries. The bathroom downstairs was good just that there was a huge window with no curtain/drape/blinds to cover it we could see the windows in the building next door. Felt kinda weird to use the toilet with such a big window facing at you. We were there in July and it was pretty hot especially the bedroom upstairs (because it has partial glass roof) could get very hot if you turn off the air conditioner before you step out during the day.
On the whole we did not really care about these little things during our stay because we just instantly fell in love with the city and looked forward to stepping out early each day so we can explore.
